FIND A DOCTOR, LAB, OR HOSPITAL

Want to find out if a particular doctor, hospital or lab is part of the Blue Cross Blue Shield of Delaware network? Just provide us with some information below and click “submit.” We’ll search our online provider directory and let you know either way.

Local BCBSD Network Local BCBSD Network – This list shows providers who participate in BCBSD's local network. If you have an IPA plan, you should only use the providers listed in this network. If you have an EPO, PPO or Traditional plan, you may use the national directory if you can’t find a provider in the local directory.

Nationwide BCBS Network Nationwide BCBS Network – This site provides a national provider directory, featuring providers from every state. Our EPO, PPO and Traditional plan members can use this directory if they live outside Delaware, or if they are away from home and in need of medical care. IPA plan members must use the Local BCBSD Network directory.

Worldwide BCBS Network Worldwide BCBS Network - This site provides valuable information on hospitals and doctors, as well as travel destinations throughout the world. Access to this site is restricted to eligible members of the independent Blue Cross and Blue Shield Plans.


The following pages list primary care and referral physicians who participate in our network programs. Please keep in mind that benefits differ, and you may not have coverage for care from all providers on our list. (For example, your employer's program may provide vision benefits and another employer's program may not.) So it's a good idea to review the information in your benefits handbook to confirm what care is covered under your plan.

We make every effort to make sure these listings are accurate; however, additions, deletions and changes may occur. You can verify a provider's status by calling 800.633.2563, Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 7:00 PM. Our local BCBSD Provider Directory is also available here in Adobe Acrobat (.PDF) format for you to print out. Please keep in mind that changes made after the publish date will not appear in the printed directory.
