How can I get a password to access my claim information?

It’s easy to get a password. Simply complete the online registration form located here. Within five days you'll receive your password to access Your BlueConnections array of online services.

Why do you send my original password via U.S. mail? Other sites send my passwords via e-mail.

BCBSD and other Health Care institutions are mandated by a federal privacy law called HIPAA. We are required to ensure all necessary steps are taken to protect your confidential information. By sending your password to your address of record, we are ensuring that the initial password is sent to the proper person. Once you have logged onto Your BlueConnection at least one time, you can choose to receive forgotten passwords via e-mail.

What if I forget, lose or never receive my password?

If you forget, lose or never receive your password simply click the "Forgot your password?" link located on the customers page logon page. Answer a few questions and you can receive your password either by US mail or e-mail.

Is Your BlueConnection available 24 hours / 7 days a week?

While bcbsde.com is available 24/7, some features in Your BlueConnection are not available for maintenance. This maintenance is typically performed on Sunday mornings from 4:00 AM to 6:00 AM.

Can I contact Customer Service with a question?

Our website requires web browsers that support 128-bit encryption, the highest level of encryption available in the world and provides the best protection when transmitting confidential data over the Internet. Web browsers that support this encryption method include:

  • Netscape Navigator 6.0 and above

  • Safari 2.0 and above

BCBSD recommends that you upgrade to a 128-bit browser if you plan to use our secure transactions. If you found that your current browser does not support 128-bit encryption, the good news is that Microsoft, Netscape and AOL offer free upgrades.
