Blue Cross Blue Shield of Delaware (BCBSD) is

of this commitment, BCBSD created BluePrints for Health, a
program that provides you with tools to help you make informed
health care choices and better manage your general health. The
program focuses on four components:

current on immunizations and recommended screenings, and detect

with information about good health and to help improve your

of the privacy and security of medical information, in accordance with
the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA)
and other applicable state and federal requirements. In addition, our
BluePrints for Health partners have committed to safeguard member data
and only to use it for the purposes of the program that they are

provided by BCBSD and BluePrints for Health partners are intended to
complement physician care. Members should always contact their
physicians for specific medical advice. Please note that some
suggestions and recommendations may not be covered by every BCBSD health
benefits plan.
